2010 Annual Appreciation Dinner April 29th

For the 30th consecutive year, the Network of Religious Communities is proud to honor outstanding
members of our religious communities for their volunteerism. On Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 6:00
p.m., we will hold our Annual Appreciation Dinner. We will recognize individuals who have been
chosen by their congregations to receive our Religious Service Award for their outstanding service to
their congregation and/or community. We invite you to help us celebrate their wonderful
contributions to our community.
Our guest speaker for the evening is Mr. Rich Kellman. Rich worked for 32 years at Channel 2 both
as an anchor and a Senior Correspondent. He reported on over 4500 stories about the lives of
ordinary people as well as great events of our time. Rich will share many interesting and exciting
stories about hope and compassion. Come be inspired!
Make this 30th year of NRC awards a success by:
1. Nominating member(s) of your congregation or clergy. Your congregation may honor one or
more people. Please return the enclosed Nomination Form by April 12, 2010 for inclusion in
our Souvenir Program.
2. Appointing someone to head up your ticket sales. Let us know ASAP who that person is using
the Ticket Chairperson Contact Information Form. We want to support their sales efforts.
3. Purchasing or encouraging your congregation members to purchase advertisements in our
Souvenir Program. Copy the Souvenir Program Advertisement Form and pass it out to those
who you think may be interested. It is a great way to share information about your
congregation members—or your own upcoming events. Deadline for ads: April 8, 2010.
4. Reserve seating for the Appreciation Dinner using the enclosed Ticket Order Form. This form
should be submitted by April 22, 2010.
5. Recognizing nominee(s) during your worship service the week before or after the Appreciation
Dinner. We want everyone to know how much they are appreciated!
