The morning today started with the terrible news about fatal shootings in two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. The act was nothing but pure evil and for which, there can never be a justification. The deplorable and heinous act of terrorism is probably the worst in New Zealand. It should not be considered just an Islamophobic, barbaric act against Muslims worshipping on their holy day of Friday but a hateful crime against humanity.
At times like this, we all need to stand together, offering support and prayers for each other.
With prayers for peace and sanity to prevail,
Nasir
